Free tools and guest mode
Generate brackets without an account, then save your work to a free workspace.
Every generator under /tools works without an account. This page explains what guests can do, what happens to the data, and how saving works.
What you can do as a guest
- Generate a bracket for any of the four generator formats: single elimination (2–128 teams), double elimination (4–64), round robin (3–12), and Swiss (4–64). Enter a team count or paste team names, one per line.
- Record results — click winners or enter scores, and the bracket progresses like the real thing.
- Use the utilities — random team generator (shuffle names or split players into groups), bye calculator, and the tiebreaker reference.
Guest progress is kept in your browser (local storage), so an accidental reload does not lose your state. Nothing is stored on Rollare servers until you save.
Saving to a workspace
The save bar appears below the generator. Saving creates a real tournament in a free workspace:
- Click Sign up free & save (or Save to my workspace if you are signed in).
- The bracket — including any results you already recorded — is recreated as a saved tournament.
- From there you get the full toolkit: registration, scheduling, live public page, exports, TV mode.
Generator upgrades on save
Two generators become richer formats when saved:
- The round robin generator saves as group stage + knockout with a single group — same table and standings, plus the option to advance the top teams into a knockout bracket afterwards.
- The Swiss generator saves as Swiss + knockout — same pairing logic, plus a bracket for the top qualifiers.
If you only wanted the pure format, nothing changes visually — the standings and pairing behavior are identical.
What free accounts include
Free workspaces are permanent: unlimited tournaments, all six formats, live public pages, registration, scheduling, and PNG/PDF exports. The only visible difference versus paid plans is a small watermark on public pages and exports. See Plans and billing.
