Public page

The shareable home of your tournament: what visitors see, match pages, and the participant view.

Every published tournament gets a public page at /t/{slug}. It is the single source of truth for your event — share the link once, and everything from brackets to last-minute court changes stays current everywhere it is seen.

What visitors see

  • The bracket — live for the chosen format, including standings where applicable.
  • Schedule — appears as soon as any match is placed; also available as an ICS calendar feed.
  • Registration card — while collecting sign-ups: the form entry point, the live approved counter, and a countdown to opening.
  • Champion and progress — the podium once decided; a progress indicator while playing.
  • Live updates — while the event is live, the page polls automatically (~15 s) and shows a "Live" badge. No refresh rituals for your spectators.

Visitors never see drafts, pending registrations, or your analytics — those stay organizer-side.

Match pages

Every match has its own shareable page at /t/{slug}/m/{matchKey}: teams, venue and time (if scheduled), result when recorded, and add-to-calendar links. Share a single marquee matchup to social media without sending the whole bracket.

The participant view

Players who sign in see a personal "my tournament" page at /t/{slug}/me:

  • Registration and check-in status,
  • Their next match — opponent, time, venue,
  • Calendar subscription for their own matches.

This is where the 60-minute match reminder emails point, so players always have one page to check on event day.

Sharing tools

The public page ships with share buttons (Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, X) and copy-link. Unfurling the link anywhere shows a rich preview card with your event's colors, format, date, venue, team count, and a QR code — generated automatically from the tournament's theme.

Lifecycle states

  • Draft — the public page is invisible (404-like) until you publish.
  • Archived — the page stays online as a read-only record; nothing can be edited.
  • Cancelled/deleted — deleted events do not vanish silently: the page shows an explicit "cancelled" notice, so players who kept the link learn the event is off instead of hitting a dead 404.
