Introduction
What Rollare is, who it is for, and the six concepts every organizer should know.
Rollare is a web platform for creating, running, and sharing tournament brackets. It is built for community organizers of sports and esports events — pickleball clubs, school leagues, esports communities, company game nights — who need the whole event in one place: the bracket, the sign-ups, the schedule, the live scores, and a public page players actually enjoy checking.
You can start without an account: every tool under /tools is free and runs in your browser. When you want registration, scheduling, live updates, and sharing, save the bracket to a free workspace and keep going from there.
What Rollare handles
- Six free formats — single elimination, double elimination, round robin, Swiss, Swiss + knockout, and group stage + knockout. Every format is free with no team-count paywall.
- Online registration — custom entry forms, quotas, waitlists, an approval workflow, and check-in.
- Scheduling — venues as grid columns, time slots, blocked dates, auto-fill with conflict detection.
- Live score entry — from any phone or laptop, with roles for referees and scorekeepers.
- Public pages — a shareable page for every tournament at
/t/{slug}, a page for every match, an embed widget, and a big-screen TV mode. - Leagues — group multiple tournaments into a series with cross-event standings.
Six concepts to know
Tournament — the event you create. It starts as a draft (only you can see it), becomes live when you publish, and is completed when a champion is crowned.
Bracket — the visual structure of matches. Its shape is decided by the format you pick; see Choosing a format.
Roster — the list of teams in the bracket. You can type names, paste a list, or import approved registrations. Teams are called participants on public pages.
Registration — the sign-up form players fill in. Submissions land in a review queue; approving an entry is what puts a team on the roster. See Registration.
Public page — the shareable home of your tournament. It shows the bracket, schedule, standings, and registration status, and updates live while you record results. See Public page.
Workspace — your personal dashboard at /studio where your tournaments and leagues live. Collaborators you invite can get scoped access as referees, scorekeepers, or co-organizers.
