Leagues

Group multiple tournaments into a series with cross-event standings.

A league bundles several tournaments into one season: a club's monthly series, a summer cup with stages, an office league with weekly rounds. Each event keeps its own page and standings; the league adds a cross-event table and one shareable home at /l/{slug}.

How it works

  • Create a league, then add finished (or planned) tournaments to it. A tournament belongs to at most one league.
  • The league page lists its events with their statuses — drafts stay hidden from the public, and events without a decided champion are marked not counted.
  • Standings are computed from events that are finished with a crowned champion; the table updates the moment an event ends.

How placements are derived

Each event contributes placements for its participants:

  • Round robin / Swiss — final table order (with that event's tiebreakers).
  • Knockouts — champion 1st, finalist 2nd, and same-round exits share a band: both semifinal losers tie for 3rd, quarterfinal losers tie for 5th.
  • Double elimination — ranked by losers-bracket exit round (the bracket reset keeps the grand final honest).
  • Two-stage formats — non-qualifiers tie behind the qualifiers.

Participants are matched by name across events, so keep participant names consistent (a club with "SKC Dragons" in one event and "Dragons" in the next creates two entries).

League points

League points come from a per-placement table plus a participation bonus — show up, play, score. Configure the table to reward wins heavily or spread points evenly, depending on whether your series should reward excellence or persistence.

Managing a league

  • One owner per league (no collaborator seats there) — plan accordingly.
  • Archive when the season ends: settings become read-only, the page and standings stay online as the record.
  • Delete dissolves the league: member tournaments become standalone again, and the public page is removed.

Leagues are included with Community and Pro plans — see Plans and billing.
